Alexis grew up in Idaho and now enjoys life in sunny Lake Tahoe after several years in Washington.
With a strong commitment to environmental conservation, she has actively contributed to hands-on projects, removing over 320,000 pounds of marine debris/creosote from the Puget Sound in collaboration with the DNR and the Samish Indian Nation. Previously, she worked with the Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group on habitat restoration, where she focused on removing invasive species and planting thousands of native plants along Skagit’s watershed.
