Audrey’s love for exploring the natural world started growing up in Oklahoma, poking around in ponds and lakes, climbing trees, and watching little critters go about their business. During her time studying environmental science and marine biology at USC, she pursued a path in scientific diving by taking courses, participating in kelp forest restoration efforts, and conducting research underwater. Now at MTS, she enjoys working to conserve and restore Lake Tahoe’s beautiful waters by combating aquatic invasive plants.
During her free time, Audrey enjoys spending time outdoors snowboarding, backpacking, or just lounging in the sun with her, Ginny. Her dreams for the future involve pursuing a PhD under the marine ecology umbrella and exploring the human impacts on underwater ecosystems. Audrey’s ultimate goal: become as cool as Sylvia Earle one day.
