Kyle graduated from the University of Nebraska - Omaha in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences. After several years working in microbiology and cancer research, Kyle decided to pursue his passion for ocean conservation and moved to Australia in 2022. Kyle graduated from James Cook University with his master's in marine science in 2023, specializing in coral reef ecology and sea turtle behavior.
Throughout his academic and professional endeavors, Kyle has been deeply committed to collaborative research, working closely with traditional owners and governmental bodies to investigate sea turtle populations, diets, and migration patterns across Malaysia and Australia.
Kyle loves to spend his free time promoting environmental stewardship. He channels his passion for the natural world through beach clean-ups, underwater videography, and promoting awareness of conservation issues. An avid adventurer, he embraces an active lifestyle spending time weightlifting, scuba diving, and hiking.
