Richard Panuschka graduated from Montana State University (MSU) in 2018 with a B.S. in snow science and minor in water resources. While studying at MSU, he focused on anthropogenic impacts to the environment. Field work was always a welcome break from frequent study sessions in the library! At MTS, Richard can often be found on a boat somewhere on beautiful Lake Tahoe. He often runs the top-side show for the Tahoe dive team. He is originally from Vienna, Austria and has spent many summers (and occasional winters) backpacking and skiing around Europe. He is also an avid skier and sailboat racer. In the winter, he teaches people to ski and in the summer he focuses on Lake Tahoe’s aquatic health.
